Full-Stack Web Engineer — Remote Ownership

We are looking for a full-time Full-Stack Web Engineer to join our team working on a web application in the PR industry.

The ideal candidate has 4-5+ years of experience developing both the front end and back end of web-based applications. Experience with B2B SaaS platforms and handling large datasets and databases is a strong plus.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the entire feature delivery process – from discovery and testing to deployment. Your primary focus will be building new features and improving existing ones within the application.

• Managing the development cycle for assigned sprints from discovery to testing to deployment
• Maintaining and upgrading features following deployment
• Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of features and enhancements
• Overseeing and guiding the analysis, writing, building, and deployment of software
• Maintaining documentation related to sprints, new features, testing, and other pertinent sprint information
• Working with each member to ensure design, development, and testing are completed according to the specifications outlined in the documentation

• Familiarity with the following tools:
  Jira, Bit Bucket, Test Rail, Cypress, Sentry, and AWS, such as EC2, ECR, and ECS
• Familiarity with the following languages and frameworks will be a plus:
  Vue.js, Python, PHP, Laravel
• 3+ years of experience Familiarity with the following databases and caches:
  MySQL, Mongo
  
  DB, AWS RDS, and caching mechanisms such as Redis
• Strong understanding of both the frontend and backend of software applications
• Capable of owning tasks and subtasks from start to finish
• Capable of estimating story points for tasks and subtasks
• Ability to work independently and autonomously
• Ability to communicate goals and progress across various departments, both upstream and downstream
• Strong verbal communication and writing skills
• Strong critical thinking skills
