Job Summary
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Missing Systems is looking for a mid‑career Software Engineer in Orlando to support the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) programs. The role involves developing, updating, and integrating software applications on ATE hardware and supporting test program development and integration.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the creation of design solutions for complex engineering problems in the software cycle.
- Utilize Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to develop functional, architectural, and detailed designs.
- Enhance product design to provide added or updated functionality based on operational scenarios and customer requirements.
- Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience using C, C++, C#, or similar programming languages.
- Software design and testing experience in a professional environment.
- Experience utilizing Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience leading a development team of a software product.
- Experience with Automatic Test Equipment software development.
- Experience leading a development team through the software life cycle.
- DCOM experience.
- Professional knowledge of digital and RF instruments (digital multimeter, oscilloscopes, analyzers, generators).
- Experience designing and integrating software for digital and RF instruments with API.
- Experience using SCPI.
- IVI Foundation software experience.
- Experience with both VXI and PXI instrumentation.
- Experience working in an integrated cross‑functional team setting (systems, hardware, integration, and test engineers).
U.S. citizenship required. Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Work ScheduleSchedule:
4×10‑hour days, 3 days off per week. Part‑time remote telework allowed; the remainder onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
