Database & Backend Development Engineer – Full Remote/WFH (Pacific Time)
Are you an experienced Database & Backend Development Engineer looking for a full-time remote position? Join our team and work on exciting Agile Dev projects. Automotive industry experience is a plus but not required.
RequiredSkills and Experience:
- Database Management: Proficiency in Postgre
SQL, Redis, and monitoring the health and performance of relational databases. Experience with MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server is beneficial. - Backend Development: Strong expertise in Node.js and JavaScript. Familiarity with Go is advantageous.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands‑on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Web Services: Understanding of RESTful APIs concepts for accessing and integrating web services.
- Data Structure Libraries: Proficient in using data structure libraries.
- Analytics: Familiarity with data layers for Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
- Technical Requirements: Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Version Control: Experience with code versioning tools like Bit Bucket and Git Hub.
- Deployment Tools: Familiarity with deployment tools such as Travis
CI. - CI/CD: Proficient in continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
- Project Management: Experience using JIRA for creating and updating user stories.
- Debugging and Troubleshooting: Strong skills in debugging and problem‑solving.
- API Gateway: Knowledge of Apigee API gateway.
- 3rd Party Libraries: Experience with various third‑party libraries.
- Critical Thinking: Excellent problem‑solving skills and a critical thinker.
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Time Management: Good time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Agile Projects: Experience with small to medium‑size Agile development projects.
