Remote Senior Java Full Stack Developer

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a hands‑on, senior‑level Full Stack Engineer to support high‑priority initiatives focused on mental health programs and automation. This role is heavily centered on rapid prototyping, discovery, and innovation, with an emphasis on quickly demonstrating value before transitioning into formal sprint execution.

This individual will play a key role in uncovering the art of the possible—leveraging modern tools, AI, and cloud technologies to build functional prototypes, advise stakeholders, and guide solution direction.

• Lead rapid prototyping efforts, including building functional UI and application prototypes with quick turnaround
• Support and enhance existing proof‑of‑concepts (POCs) rather than starting from scratch
• Work across front‑end and back‑end development to deliver end‑to‑end solutions
• Act as a technical advisor, providing options, recommendations, and trade‑offs to stakeholders (including Ram)
• Participate in an initial discovery phase to explore solution approaches and validate ideas
• Transition prototypes into structured sprint execution once direction and value are confirmed
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners while working directly with live prototypes
• Initially act as a technical lead, with the expectation of later transitioning into a scrum pod

• Strong full‑stack development background 7+ years of experience
• Angular or React
• Can build responsive UI and integrate with backend APIS
• Java 8/11/17 & J2EE concepts
• Spring ecosystem
• CI/CD
• Cloud Platforms- GCP (preferred), AWS, or Azure
• Worked with AI tools (Copilot, any other tools welcomed)
• Proven experience building rapid prototypes and POCs
• Comfort working in ambiguous problem spaces and shaping technical direction
• Ability to leverage existing tools and infrastructure to accelerate delivery
• Strong communication skills with the ability to advise, influence, and guide stakeholders Background in legacy system modernization
• Experience supporting or extending Salesforce‑based applications
• Prior work in discovery‑led or innovation‑focused engagements
