Remote Solution Architect

Job Description

A healthcare insurance provider is looking for a Solution Architect to join their team remotely to join a consolidation effort for the company's Grievance and Appeals system. The Solution Architect designs and leads enterprise‑scale application and integration architectures, partnering closely with enterprise and G&A architecture teams to ensure technical excellence and strategic alignment. This role collaborates with product owners and managers to translate business and clinical capabilities into scalable, secure, and high‑performing technical designs while guiding technical leads and engineers across multiple projects and work streams.

Serving as the senior architect for major initiatives, the Solution Architect provides architectural oversight and hands‑on support throughout the full software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture, strong proficiency in Java, Python, Spring Boot, and modern front‑end frameworks such as React and Angular, and deep expertise in non‑functional requirements including SLAs, latency, and real‑time processing.

Extensive experience with full‑stack development, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), microservices, APIs, databases (SQL, No

SQL, Redis), Dev Ops and container ecosystems, messaging systems like Kafka, and exposure to AI/ML and Generative AI technologies is required, along with demonstrated leadership, stakeholder management skills, and a hands‑on development background. Experience in the healthcare domain is preferred.

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture roles (Technical Lead, Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect).
