This technical pre-sales engineering opportunity works with our North American customers to build and optimize their data management and machine learning strategy. Focus on device-aware machine learning, data onboarding, curation, tuning, and extensibility. Edge Impulse empowers enterprise development teams to rapidly research & develop industry-specific Edge AI solutions and launch successful AI-powered products.

Primary Responsibilities Guide and collaborate with prospective customers throughout North America as a trusted technical advisor to design and optimize their data management, machine learning workflow, and model deployment with Edge Impulse.

Contribute to sales & marketing activities by participating in events, visiting prospects, and performing presentations, and demonstrations.

Work with engineering and account management teams to envision machine learning solutions and solve technical challenges for intelligent devices in industries such as industrial automation, automotive, digital health, and more.

Develop transformation, processing, training, and deployment code to create machine learning models from large datasets and deploy to resource-constrained devices.

This position is eligible to work remotely in the U.S.#Edge Impulse Minimum

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

ORMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
2+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
1+ year of experience with debugging techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

Track record of multi-disciplinary problem solving and working across domains, teams, and companies in the US & NA region to develop complex technical solutions.

Experience developing embedded or cloud software (python, C/C, or equivalent) with exposure to Linux or RTOSs.

Experience with data analysis & machine learning, including Python ML & data libraries (e.g. Tensor Flow, Keras, PyTorch, Num Py, Pandas, or equivalent).Experience developing, launching, or maintaining technical products in relevant commercial industries (e.g. industrial, medical, automotive, IoT, or related…
