Senior Developer – Backend Integrations

Responsibilities- Design and build integrations between our Invoices-to-Cash platform and legal financial management systems
- Collaborate with customers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Reverse engineer third-party financial systems to understand data structures, APIs, and workflows
- Design and implement ETL processes to move and transform financial data between systems
- Produce clean, efficient, well-documented code based on minimal specifications and your own discovery
- Utilize REST APIs for uploading data to our platform
- Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations, data models, and processes
- Contribute to our team culture where fun, hard work, and great teammates go hand in hand
Minimum:
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing software
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures, views, complex queries, Change Data Capture, and Change Tracking
- Database research and design skills, including schema analysis and query optimization
- Solid foundation in object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
- Hands-on experience building or maintaining ETL applications and data pipelines
- Comfortable working with containerized services (Docker), Git Hub source control, and cloud environments (Azure)
- Ability to solve challenging problems with minimal direction, limited documentation, and incomplete information
- Undying allegiance to unit tests
Preferred:
- Ideal candidates should have professional experience in some of the following:
- Legal, financial, and/or accounting industry experience
- Designing, building, or maintaining legal financial management systems such as:
- a) Aderant
- b) Thomson Reuters Elite 3E
- c) Or similar
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining REST APIs
- Comfortable working in a Dev Ops environment, including deployment pipelines
- Usage of other programming languages in addition to C#
