What We're Building:

A closed-loop software suite for the automotive service industry - shop management, AP automation, document reconciliation, accounting, and payroll - all connected, all talking to each other, all built to stay that way.

Our stack is Rust, Python, Go, and React, with AI agents closing the reconciliation loops. We are primarily leveraging agentic coding. You will not be writing code by hand, you will be judging code written by the tools. PR discipline and forward-focused decision making are absolutely key.

We are not maintaining something. We are building something, and we intend to keep building it correctly.

The Work:

You will work directly with the CTO. Two people, real problems.

• Build Go backend services and Rust workers for document processing, invoice matching, and AP automation at scale.
• Design and extend AI agent workflows that close reconciliation loops without human intervention.
• Build React frontends that give business owners real visibility into their operations.
• Solve problems that do not have an established pattern to follow.

There are no committees. No standups. No one asking you to simplify what doesn't need to be simplified.

Who Fits Here:

You have been writing code longer than you have been paid to. You have strong opinions about how systems should be built and a track record of being right. You work best with full ownership of a problem and minimal overhead between you and the work.

A CS degree is not a requirement. An impressive job title is not a requirement. What matters is that you have built something real and can explain clearly why you built it the way you did.

If you have spent time in environments where the thinking felt shallow or the corporate processes got in the way of the work, this is worth your attention.

Compensation:

• Base salary is well below market - we are being direct about that upfront.
• The equity is real: when the company succeeds, you participate in a way that is meaningful, not symbolic.
