Location:
Remote during Covid - New York
Duration: 12 months+ possible extension
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Good to have Fidessa experience specifically Fidessa Expression Evaluator
- Must have strong Java Experience and skills
- Must have strong SQL experience and skills
- Good to have Python Experience and skills
- In-depth understating of Dev Ops and Agile principles and methodology
- Developer will implement technical solutions to cater to the eTrading Platform
- Maintain & Improve applications, code, procedures and support the systems
- Knowledge and experience of the Cash Equity trading market and electronic trading is good to have
- Solid analytical skills and strong financial model background
- Work with traders and quantitative analysts to specify and build out real-time trading applications
- Ability to cope with rapid front office trading development requests and to respond to and address production situations promptly
- Ability to communicate and act professionally with IT staff and business clients while under strict deadlines
- Ability to work in a team-oriented setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
