Job Title: Senior Remote Word Press Developer - Contract / Freelance Role

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Word Press Developer to join our remote team. As a Senior Word Press Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining websites for our international clients. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience working with Word Press and related technologies, as well as a deep understanding of best practices and coding standards.

This is a senior position, and the candidate will be expected to lead and mentor other team members.

Type:

• Contractor/Freelance between 5 - 20 hours / week.

Hours:

• Variable weekly needs pending client workloads, with efforts to plan ahead and respect your time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain websites for international clients using Word Press, Woo Commerce, and ACF
• Work with clients and team members to identify and implement custom features and functionality
• Ensure code quality and adhere to Word Press coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with designers and other developers to create seamless user experiences
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Word Press updates, security patches, and third-party plugin updates
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers on the team

Requirements:

• 5 or more years of experience in Word Press development
• Strong knowledge of Word Press, Woo Commerce, ACF, Word Press Codex, Word Press documentation, and PHP
• Ability to develop custom Word Press themes and plugins from scratch
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and Java Script
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
• Ability to lead and mentor other team members
