We are a fast-growing tech company based in Akron seeking a highly skilled Front‑End Web Developer to join our team. This position is open to candidates of all nationalities, but preference will be given to Indian and Kenyan applicants. This is an English‑speaking job so fluency in English is required.
As a Front‑End Web Developer, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with on our website. You will work closely with our design and back‑end development teams to create a seamless and user‑friendly experience for our customers.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the design team to translate mock‑ups into code.
- Write efficient, clean, and reusable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Optimize website performance for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and debug code as needed.
- Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and advancements in web development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a Front‑End Web Developer or similar role.
- Proficient understanding of front‑end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.
- Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
- Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN.
We offer a competitive salary of $1500 per month for this position.
LocationThis job is located in Akron, but remote work may be considered for the right candidate.
