Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for an Automation Software QA Engineer to join a team building a holistic ecosystem of solutions for the Design and Manufacturing industry.
In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring the quality of Fusion across desktop, web, and cloud experiences, including UI and API layers. You will help improve engineering workflows through quality practices, test automation, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

This position follows either a hybrid work model, with an office located in Kraków, or a remote work model.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the testing and automation of Fusion API, and Fusion Automation API.
- Support quality assurance activities for Fusion Manufacturing projects, including AI-driven solutions, through both manual and automated testing.
- Analyze requirements, user stories, and specifications to identify test scope, test scenarios, and potential quality risks.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to clarify requirements, acceptance criteria, and expected product behavior.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
- Build, improve, and scale automated test suites to ensure product stability and comprehensive coverage.
- Suggest improvements to testing tools, frameworks, and processes based on project needs and team guidance.
- 2+ years of experience in QA engineering, with a focus on test automation of desktop and/or cloud products.
- Hands‑on experience with API testing.
- Experience designing test strategies for AI‑driven systems, including handling non‑deterministic outputs.
- Experience with Type Script/JavaScript, or Python.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software build, test, and deployment processes.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
- Demonstrated sense of ownership and commitment to delivering high‑quality products.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Experience in testing web services/applications.
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software or manufacturing workflows.
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
