The Emerging Talent team reviews referrals for intern software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and UX designers to join us in building and improving GoDaddy products.

LocationTempe, AZ or Remote - US. Hybrid or fully remote designation will be decided by your manager. If designated as hybrid, you'll divide your time between working remotely from your home and an office location, so you should live within commuting distance. If designated as remote, you'll be working remotely from your home and may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, California, Colorado, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Seattle, WA or the Virgin Islands.

Role OverviewJoin our team. GoDaddy is looking for Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and UX Designers to join us as interns in building and improving GoDaddy products. As an intern with our team, you will make meaningful contributions to the company's revenue, customer growth, and innovation. This is a temporary internship assignment, typically ranging from 3–6 months in duration based on region and season.
Whatyou'll get to do
- Build outstanding services that help our internal and external customers succeed.
- Write highly scalable, highly available, cloud‑ready applications.
- Solve end‑to‑end problems.
- Test code (e.g., writing functional and unit tests).
- Adopt Agile methodologies to continuously release and deploy iterations of our services.
- Embrace Dev Ops methodologies for enabling and supporting always‑on services.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to understand the needs of our customers.
- Develop a strong understanding of how you can assist our customers in accomplishing their goals every day.
- Establish critical metrics to monitor product and customer success.
- Demonstrate a positive demeanor and flexibility to work in a dynamic environment with changing needs.
- Completing a BS / MS in a computer science, information system, UX or related field.
- Experience in one programming language such as Java, Python, HTML, JavaScript, C#, Go Lang etc.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, software designs, micro services, and cloud computing.
- Prior work experience with AWS is a plus.
- Demonstrates a passion to develop sophisticated and groundbreaking solutions for real‑world business problems.
- Experience in an Agile development environment is a plus.
- Exhibit effortless analytical and research skills.
- Excellent social, written and verbal interpersonal skills.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to write clearly and quickly, explaining technical concepts to a non‑technical audience.
- You have completed multiple academia projects that demonstrate a deep understanding of different technologies and tools.
- Strong sense of curiosity and are always striving to improve your knowledge base.
