Our Applications Engineering team is in the business of trust and reliability. We create, maintain, and operate scalable technology and data solutions that deliver an exceptional experience for our internal and external customers. We embrace Agile principles and values, favor Dev Ops practices, and view infrastructure as code, all while we create an infrastructure that scales and supports our growth and ambitious vision.

This requires a smart, highly collaborative team that can identify, investigate, and implement new technologies to continue securely scaling our global business. The Software Engineer, Sales will develop, and implement Application, Data, and Integration Engineering solutions that run our internal business, as well as evaluate existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure final solutions meet organizational needs.

This role requires deep Salesforce and AI or ML knowledge, integration experience and sound judgment in order to effectively plan and deliver. The successful candidate will own multiple Business Application Projects and will be required to lead or direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected! This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, GTM Engineering.

Responsibility

* Explore and integrate hyper automation technologies including Al or ML, intelligent document processing, and process mining

* Develop backend services and domain logic layers within the Salesforce and other adjacent GTM platforms, treating Apex as a server-side programming environment for enterprise application development

* Break down large initiatives into well-defined technical milestones, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and architectural trade-offs

* Provide critical support coverage during month-end and quarter-end business cycles

* Build enterprise-grade, code-driven applications using Lightning Web Components and or Angular or React with a strong emphasis on scalable frontend layer and service orchestration

* Serve as the primary technical escalation point for complex platform decisions across Sales systems

* Own the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, CI or CD automation, deployment strategies, and production support

* Develop and maintain reusable frameworks, shared services, and platform utilities to standardize engineering practices and improve developer productivity

* Monitor performance optimization and scalability initiatives, including bulkification, asynchronous processing strategies, and system throughput improvements

* Implement observability and reliability patterns, including structured logging, monitoring, alerting, and proactive incident detection and resolution

* Drive technical debt remediation and platform hardening, including refactoring legacy code, improving test coverage, and enforcing engineering standards

* Partner with product and engineering teams to define and deliver scalable system capabilities and services

* Own production system health, including incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous reliability improvements

* Contribute to Al-enabled and agent-driven workflows by integrating external Al services into Salesforce workflows

Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field

* 5+ years of experience in IT applications emphasizing  configuration, customization, and support

* 3+ years of experience in Front end
