Job Description

Our Client, a leading global manufacturer, is seeking an experienced applications developer who is a skilled communicator and a customer focused person, for the position of Salesforce Developer, based out of our Downers Grove, IL location. The chosen candidate will work with the solution architect and product manager, to develop customer-facing applications and programs.

Please Note: relocation and full remote work will not be considered at this time. Candidates must be able to interview and work on-site in Downers Grove, IL.

Salary range: 100K-105K with 2 raises a year!

Purpose:

The associate in this role will develop new applications and programs, as well as develop upgrades to existing systems and applications for the customer experience value stream.

• Analysis, design and programming of systems software and applications in coordination with the solution architect.
• Write, translate and code software programs and applications according to specifications and user needs.
• Write programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or appearance of applications.
• Assist in deployment of new programs and enhancements to existing applications.
• Install and configure relevant components.
• Diagnose and resolve application performance issues.
• Develop, code, install, test, debug and document applications using appropriate editors.
• Write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding and corrections.
• Support applications and programs.
• Conduct unit testing on applications and programs.
• Participate in user testing, user training and documentation.

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in development. (this is a requirement)
• Written communication skills for writing reports, proposals, requirements and test plans.
• Verbal communication skills for working with users and stakeholders.
• Ability to organize ideas and facts.
• Plan and develop goals.
• Understand and apply knowledge of group dynamics and effective team building skills.
• Salesforce Lightning UI Customization and API development, Salesforce CRM, Salesforce B2B Commerce (this is a requirement)
• Yourkea and Boomi nice to have.

B.S. in Information Systems or B.S. in Computer Science. (this is a requirement)
