Job Description:
Looking for an SDET engineer with a strong API automation background and exposure to Agentic AI who can:
Create and maintain automated test cases, execute test suites, review and diagnose reported defects, and ensure overall system quality prior to customer release Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test suites integrated into continuous integration pipelines to provide fast, actionable quality feedback Create and enhance automated tests to be executed continuously throughout the development cycle Design test plans, scenarios, and automated scripts to accurately validate functionality against business requirements, feature descriptions, and acceptance criteria Design test plans, scenarios, and automated scripts that validate API specifications and ensure compliance with organizational API standards and style guides Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and similar solutions to support test case generation, use case development, test automation design, and QA workflow acceleration Review, validate, and refine AI-generated test assets to ensure quality, accuracy, maintainability, and alignment with engineering standards Contribute to validation approaches for AI-enabled and agentic systems, including multi-step autonomous workflows, tool-using agents, and LLM-driven service behaviors Support quality practices for emerging AI use cases, including response evaluation, failure mode analysis, hallucination and grounding checks, and system behavior validation where deterministic outputs may not always apply
Please provide the TOP skills, and the years of experience that you'll consider:
Minimum of five years of experience in Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role Strong understanding of and ability to develop code in JavaScript or with any programming languages Minimum of three years of experience using test automation frameworks and tools such as Test Cafe, Selenium Web Driver, Postman, Karate, or similar platforms Strong experience testing RESTful API contracts is required
Experience with both backend and frontend (UX) testing
Experience with CI/CD tools and automation workflows, including Postman with Newman, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Tea Clientity, or similar tools
Experience with AI-assisted software engineering tools such as Claude Code, Git Hub Copilot, or similar platforms to improve test design, authoring, and engineering productivity Familiarity with testing strategies for agentic AI, LLM-integrated applications, and other non-deterministic systems Understanding of validation techniques for AI-driven applications, including scenario-based testing, behavior-based verification, evaluation frameworks, and safety/guardrail testing Experience working on Agile teams is required

This role requires the ability to effectively leverage modern AI-assisted engineering tools, such as Claude Code and similar platforms, to accelerate test authoring, use case generation, test data design, and exploratory testing workflows.
The ideal candidate will apply these tools thoughtfully and responsibly, using strong engineering judgment to validate outputs and improve overall test effectiveness and delivery speed.
