Senior Test Engineer (Contract, Brazil, Remote)

Contract for candidates based in Brazil. The initial contract is for seven months, with potential extensions.

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You will work closely as part of the development team throughout the software lifecycle, embedding testing into every step of the process. Your responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the development team to integrate testing and a quality assurance mindset into the software development lifecycle.
• Defining and implementing structured testing practices, including automated and manual testing strategies.
• Developing and maintaining automated front‑end, back‑end, and API test frameworks using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, and Chai.
• Performing functional, non‑functional, performance, and security testing.
• Ensuring test processes are integrated into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality assurance.
• Optimizing testing for scalability, speed, and efficiency.
• Working with and supporting Technical Leaders in project execution and timely delivery.
• Collaborating with client teams.

• Professional proficiency in English.
• Significant experience delivering at a Senior Test Engineer level (at least six years of commercial experience).
• Practical experience delivering in an agile environment.
• Experience developing automation testing frameworks for scalable software solutions.
• Deep knowledge of automation testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Mocha, and Chai.
• Deep understanding of version control tools, e.g., Git.
• Practical and real‑world experience working with databases and cloud environments.
• Experience creating test strategies for large‑scale, enterprise applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Sanity or other Headless CMS is a plus.
