Telecommunications Engineer | $60/hr Remote
At Crossing Hurdles, we work as a referral partner. We refer candidates to our client that collaborates with the world’s leading AI research labs to build and train cutting‑edge AI models.
- Base pay range: $30.00/hr - $60.00/hr
- Type: Part‑time Contract
- Compensation: $30-$60/hr
- Location: Remote
- Duration: 10–40 hrs/week, flexible and asynchronous
- Requirements: (Training support will be provided)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Telecom and VoIP Engineering
- Strong hands‑on experience with telecom protocols, VoIP systems, and communication platforms
- Familiarity with AI concepts and prompt engineering within telecom environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex systems clearly
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience delivering or supporting remote technical training or documentation
- Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment with high attention to quality
- Master’s degree or advanced coursework in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or AI
- Previous experience as an AI trainer, technical mentor, or prompt engineer
- Familiarity with modern AI frameworks and their application in VoIP or telecom infrastructures
- Experience working with cloud‑based telecom platforms and large‑scale communication systems
- Awareness of current trends in AI‑driven telecom and voice technologies
- Design and deliver AI training prompts and modules focused on Telecom and VoIP engineering use cases
- Guide end‑to‑end prompt engineering cycles aligned with real‑world telecom workflows
- Evaluate AI‑generated outputs for technical accuracy, clarity, and practical relevance
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify knowledge gaps and improve AI training quality
- Develop realistic training scenarios reflecting industry best practices in telecom and VoIP systems
- Maintain clear documentation and training materials with high communication standards
- Stay up to date with advancements in AI, telecom, and VoIP to continuously refine training content
- Provide mentorship and structured feedback to support both technical and non‑technical contributors
