As a Senior API Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable, and resilient microservices architectures. You will work on migrating legacy systems to modern frameworks, integrating asynchronous event-driven solutions, and implementing cloud-native API services. The role requires deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development, as well as experience with message queues and distributed systems.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure APIs are fault-tolerant, secure, and highly performant, contributing to projects that support complex business processes across multiple industries.
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies
- Migrate legacy services (e.g., SOA, Tibco) to modern frameworks
- Implement resilient API designs, caching strategies, and asynchronous communication using Kafka or similar message brokers
- Build, test, and deploy APIs using CI/CD pipelines on platforms like Open Shift or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Collaborate with teams to analyze requirements, define technical solutions, and maintain high-quality documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in distributed systems to ensure reliability and performance
- Mentor junior developers and share best practices for API development and cloud-native architectures
- Extensive experience in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful API development
- Proven experience designing fault-tolerant, scalable microservices architectures
- Hands‑on experience with message queues, Kafka, or event‑driven systems
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred) and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with service migration from legacy frameworks to modern architectures
- Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in distributed teams
