Senior Software Engineer (Node.js / Type Script / AWS)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Node.js and Type Script to build and maintain high-performance back‑end services. Previous experience in the Telecom industry (specifically SIP or VOIP) gets immediate attention. Our team delivers real‑time applications used by telecom service providers for least‑cost routing, fraud mitigation, and branded calling. These systems process call data with an extremely low latency, so strong engineering discipline and attention to performance are critical.

• Maintain and enhance several production Node.js applications running on AWS.
• Design and implement new features in existing services.
• Build new back‑end applications using Node.js and Type Script.
• Contribute to automated testing and overall code quality.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to ensure reliability, security, and performance across the platform.

• Strong development experience and proficiency in Node.js and Type Script.
• Experience developing cloud‑based applications in an AWS environment.
• Familiarity with Git Hub and Git Hub Actions.
• Solid experience with SQL.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a disciplined engineering mindset.
• Ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative, and distributed team.
• Commitment to clean, secure, and maintainable code.
• Understanding of network fundamentals; exposure to SIP, VOIP or other telecom protocols

• Experience with Ember.js.
• Experience with Valkey/Redis.
• Experience with Apache Kafka.
• Experience with Apache Druid.
• Background in automated testing frameworks.
• Understanding of real‑time data processing or low‑latency systems.

This role is fully remote (work from home). We work EST hours, so we prefer candidates who live in the EST or CST time zone. The role is a full‑time position with a comprehensive benefits package.
