As a Software Engineer, you’ll be a technical contributor for our Aware platform. You’ll be challenged often and will find yourself working on all areas of the application domain across the full app delivery stack.

• Design and implement highly resilient, scalable, and performant solutions that solve complex healthcare problems using VueJS, NodeJS, Java, Python, AWS and more.
• Participate in technical and product discussions with leaders across our engineering, product, and business teams.
• Self-reliance, without supervision, while showcasing best design/communication/solution practices in daily works.
• Ensure continuously improve our standard of engineering excellence.

Minimum Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science or related area.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong foundation in computer science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and system design building scalable web applications and backend services.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, such as version control, testing, and continuous integration.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Type Script, Java, Go, C#, etc.).
• Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience in relational schema design and SQL.
• Familiarity with Shift Left and test automation.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership; proactively identifies opportunities, takes initiative without being asked, and follows through with persistence.
• Travel to and from company headquarters in Austin, Texas is required for new hire orientation, onboarding and occasional company meetings.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with generative AI, machine learning, and predictive algorithms.
• Familiarity with statistics and healthcare domain.
• Expertise with distributed event streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Experience with data pipeline technologies.

Compensation Range: $117K – $150K
