Position: AWS Developer Remote Opportunity

Job Summary

Mind Computing is seeking a skilled AWS Developer to design, develop, and manage cloud-based applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS services, cloud computing, and Dev Ops practices to build, modify, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications and solutions on AWS.
Utilize AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, Dynamo

DB, RDS, API Gateway, and others for application development.
Implement serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS Cloud Formation or Terraform.
Ensure security best practices in AWS, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance.
Optimize cloud-based applications for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline, Code Build, and Code Deploy.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve application performance using AWS Cloud Watch and logging tools.
Pull and manipulate data from external APIs.
Stay updated with AWS best practices, new features, and emerging technologies.

Required

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience working in an Agile programming environment.
Proven experience as an AWS Developer or Cloud Engineer.
Strong proficiency in AWS services, cloud computing, and architecture.
Hands‑on experience with programming languages such as Python.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS Cloud Formation.
Strong knowledge of networking, security, and compliance in AWS environments.
Experience in designing, managing and optimizing SQL server on AWS.
Understanding of Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Experience with machine learning, big data, or IoT services in AWS.
Experience supporting Legacy applications.
Familiar with x12 and health care transactions related to claims processing.
Experience building functions in Python.
Experience with REST APIs.
Experience with integrations with SaaS products, such as Pega, Service Now, or Jira.
