As a Senior Elixir Engineer, you will build real-time, concurrent backends using the Elixir language and the Phoenix framework. You will leverage functional programming principles to design and maintain scalable systems that handle complex business logic and high-traffic workloads with ease.
What You'll Do- Design and develop robust backend services and APIs using Elixir, Phoenix, and Ecto.
- Implement high-concurrency, real-time features using Live View, Gen Servers, and OTP patterns.
- Architect and optimize database schemas and complex queries within Postgre
SQL environments. - Ensure system reliability and fault tolerance by utilizing Erlang/OTP supervision trees.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into clean, maintainable code.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ensure high engineering standards across the development lifecycle.
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, specifically with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
- Proven expertise in building real-time, concurrent backends using OTP patterns and Gen Servers.
- Deep understanding of functional programming principles and data modeling with Ecto and Postgre
SQL. - Proficiency in developing modern interactive web applications using Phoenix Live View.
- Strong background in designing scalable and distributed systems with a focus on fault tolerance.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
