As a
** Senior Data Engineer,
** you will contribute to a variety of areas including:
* The development of our overall data platform
* Supporting internal and external customers with data related technical work, to include planning, documentation, and coding
* Interacting directly with customers
** About You

** Senior Data Engineer
** if you meet the following criteria:
* Have Bachelor of Science degree in a technical area (relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree).
* 7 years of data engineering experience
* Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake Data Cloud Platform, including complex queries and performance optimization within the Snowflake environment
* Experience with:
+ Data Loading, Data Transformation, Data Extraction, Sharing and Replication  + Security features, including access control, data masking and encryption  + Data modeling across disparate data sources with a variety of formats and structures  + Ontology development at a warehouse level
* Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc) for data processing and ETL scripting
* Passionate, smart, and articulate technologist
* Able to work independently based on high level instructions
* Possess a strong personal work ethic
* Desire to collaborate with a distributed team
* Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. National Security Clearance
* Able to support and teach others in areas of mastery
** Additional Desired Skills
*** Experience with formal SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) procedures
* Experience with version control software and methodology, preferably Github#LI-SW1
