We are looking for software developers to joina large team that is providing lifecycle

O&M for a scalable Next Gen space resiliency / flight safety program. The ideal candidates will be hands-on software developers with experience in Java development utilizing various libraries such as Spring Boot, Mockito, Lombok, OpenAPI (Swagger) and other similar libraries developing RESTFul services. The software application is managed through Git and built using gradle. Other third-party applications that are utilizedare Kafka, Mongo

DB, Active

MQ and/or NiFi. Applications are containerized and deployed to a Kubernetes cluster using Helm Charts. Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience is also desired.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience writing complex or scientific code with JAVA
• Library experience:
  
  Spring Boot, Mockito, Lombok, OpenAPI (Swagger)
• Experience with Agile development, including SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban
• Experience with
  
  Git and Gradle
• Experience with third party applications:
  Kafka, Mongo
  
  DB,Active
  
  MQ and/or Ni Fi
• Kubernetes and Helm Charts
• AWS
• Experience developing, managing, and securing containers (Dockers and Container
  
  D)
• Background with Space Systems(satellites, sensors, payloads, orbital dynamics, astrodynamics, flight safety, satellite conjunction analysis), GEOINT, SIGINT is highly preferred.

Education/Experience - Must Have Requirements:

• for Senior Level:
• 10 years of experience in either (a) software engineering (b) software development or (c) systems engineering for information technology systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field.
• for Mid Level:
• 5 years of experience in software engineering or software development for information technology systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent field.

Eligibility Requirements:

• TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
• Ability to work at contractor facility in Chantilly, VA
