Engineering Intern

As an Engineering Intern, you'll work alongside experienced engineers, product managers, and designers to build real features that impact our customers. This is not a "shadowing" internship - you'll contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate across teams, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

What you'll do:

* Contribute to the development of customer-facing and internal products across web, mobile, and backend systems

* Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to ship high-quality features

* Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team ceremonies

* Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code

* Help troubleshoot bugs and improve system performance

* Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve coding efficiency, debugging, testing, and documentation

* Experiment with emerging AI technologies and contribute ideas on how AI can improve both the developer experience and customer experience

* Use AI responsibly to accelerate workflows while maintaining strong engineering fundamentals and code quality standards

* Present your work and learnings to the broader organization at the end of the internship

What we're looking for:

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

* Expected graduation date between

* Experience with at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Type Script, Python, Java, or Swift

* Passion for technology, fintech, and building products that help people

* Interest in AI tools and curiosity around how artificial intelligence is shaping the future of software development

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills

* Comfortable working in a flexible hybrid environment with in-office collaboration in NYC

Gold Stars:

* Experience building personal, academic, or open-source projects

* Familiarity with React, React Native, Node.js, AWS, or modern backend technologies

* Exposure to AI tools such as Git Hub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similar developer productivity platforms

* Interest in personal finance, investing, or financial technology
