Senior Software Engineer II - Android (Kotlin)

We are looking for a talented Android Software Engineer to join our team of 10 Android engineers. Our team is remote and embraces industry-standard tools for collaboration.

• Advanced knowledge of Kotlin
• At least 7 years of professional experience with Android development using the Android SDK
• Experience with the entire app development process, from development to shipping on Google Play
• Some experience with Clean Architecture is preferred
• Some experience with AI agentic development is preferred
• Stay up-to-date with latest patterns and libraries from the Android community
• Experience with both JUnit and instrumentation testing on Android
• Understanding of design patterns and ability to detect their use cases in code
• Experience with async patterns and network communication
• Self-management skills and impeccable follow‑through
• Clear communication skills with concise and cohesive delivery
• Desire to mentor others in software engineering excellence

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and developers to drive mobile projects from beginning to end
• Participate in decision‑making and weigh scope, complexity, and timing factors
• Architect code to encourage flexibility, modularity, and reusability
• Mentor team members through knowledge sharing and thorough code reviews
• Maintain robust apps by writing tests, monitoring, reporting, and troubleshooting bugs

The US total compensation range for this full‑time position is $164,000 - $220,000 (inclusive of salary + equity). The range displayed on each job posting reflects the approximate total target compensation for the position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including relevant skills, experience, and education/training. Please note that the compensation listed does not include benefits.
