Seeking a visionary Senior Director of Software Engineering & Architect, this full-time remote position will lead the design and architecture of enterprise‑scale systems, mentor engineering teams, and drive strategic technology initiatives to align with business objectives.
Key responsibilities- Design and architect event‑driven systems for real‑time order management and trade execution
- Provide hands‑on technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define technology roadmaps and prioritize initiatives for competitive advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in financial trading or high‑frequency transaction processing
- Extensive experience with event streaming platforms and event‑driven architecture patterns
- Proven expertise in cloud deployments, preferably AWS, and microservices architectures
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks for financial transaction systems
