• Do Bazel migration.
• Promote Bazel and our expertise through conferences, meetups, blog posts, and social media.
• Develop open‑source and internal solutions focused on Bazel.
• Pre‑sales and consultancy work.
• Train and mentor developers on Bazel.

This role usually is connected with part‑time work within other projects related to Bazel.

Requires exceptional multitasking, willingness to public speaking, write articles, and activity within social media or discussion forums (e.g., Bazel Slack). Requires initiative and creativity.

• 5+ years of experience in backend, devops, or platform engineering
• Experience developing solutions around building tools, maintaining CI/CD, and other aspects of software development lifecycle
• Practical knowledge of Bazel or at least one other build tool
• Knowledge of the JVM ecosystem
• Communication skills and pragmatic approach to problem‑solving
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Pro‑active problem‑solving, no hesitation reaching out for help
• No specific technology requirement beyond JVM tools/languages, but interest in build tools and developer productivity is valued
