AI Research Marketing Intern - Summer

* Note:

This position requires presence in our San Francisco office location 4 days per week;
Lambda’s designated work from home day is currently Tuesday.

Lambda's research team is doing work that matters in AI and not enough people know about it yet. That's where you come in. As our AI Research Marketing Intern, you'll own the strategy for how Lambda’s research reaches the world: defining what we say, where we say it, and why it lands. You'll storyboard and edit original content, dig into channel data to make the case for what deserves investment, and use AI tooling to move fast and iterate.

If you're the kind of person who reads ML papers and also has opinions about retention curves, we want to talk.

• Define the social media strategy for Lambda’s research program
• Help build the Lambda story through amplifying our voice in research
• Storyboard marketing content relating to AI/ML research
• Edit short form and long form videos to be posted on Lambda accounts
• Provide data‑driven arguments for why a certain channel or type of content deserves more investment
• Use AI to increase efficiency in planning, analysis, and quick iteration

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Marketing, Film production, Data science, or related field.
• Interested in AI/ML research
• Enthusiastic about planning and laying the groundwork for content
• Comfortable learning new concepts, quickly

• Prior marketing internship experience
• Direct AI/ML engineering experience
• Familiar with AI research conferences

This is an hourly role, eligible for overtime. The hourly rate for this position has been set based on market data and other factors. However, a hourly rate higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
