Principal AI​/ML Engineer

Experience: 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in AI/ML

Location: Palo Alto, CA - Hybrid (2–3 days per week in office)

Compensation: $250,000–$350,000 base salary plus equity

• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM and agent-based systems using frameworks such as Lang Chain, Lang Graph, or CrewAI.
• Expertise with RAG, semantic search, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
• Experience developing AI agents for workflow automation, code generation, data analysis, personalized assistants, content creation, or multi-agent systems.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with Python, REST APIs, microservices, and public cloud environments; familiarity with Go, Kubernetes, Java, or Scala is a plus.
• Builder mentality with a track record of taking products from concept to production.

• Experience with knowledge graphs, entity extraction, and integrating graph-based retrieval with LLMs.
• Background in code generation, semantic extraction, or vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate.
• Experience with Spark, compiler development, or optimizing ML models for low-latency production environments.
• Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to drive build-versus-buy decisions.
