WFH Full-Stack Developer; Java + Angular + Claude

We're hiring a full-stack developer (java/spring/db/angular) who builds using Claude as their primary development partner. You'll work end-to-end across Angular (Type Script) frontends and Java/Spring backends, building net-new features and enhancing production systems. This role requires 5+ years of professional programming experience with strong Java and Angular skills. Hotel or vacation rental industry experience a bonus.

We're hiring a full-stack developer who builds with Claude, not just uses Claude on the side. You'll be expected to design, ship, and maintain production code across our Java backend and Angular frontend stack — using Claude Code (and the broader Claude ecosystem) as your primary development partner from day one.

This is not a "we'll let you try AI tools sometimes" role. Claude is core to how our team writes code, reviews changes, debugs production issues, and reasons about architecture. We're looking for someone who already thinks this way — or is hungry to.

You’ll split your time between net-new feature development
and enhancing existing systems
that have been in production for years. Both matter equally.

• Build new features end-to-end across Angular (Type Script) frontends and Java/Spring backends, driving each through design, implementation, testing, and deployment with Claude as your collaborator.
• Enhance, refactor, and harden existing production systems — reading legacy code carefully, understanding the why behind it, and making surgical improvements rather than rewrites.
• Write effective prompts and use Claude Code's agent, plan, and skill features to plan multi-file changes, run code reviews, draft tests, and verify behavior before merging.
• Pair with Claude on debugging — production logs, stack traces, schema mismatches, performance issues — and document what was learned so the team (and the agents) get smarter over time.
• Participate in code review (human and AI-assisted), ship clean commits, and own your changes through deployment.
• Contribute to internal tooling, agent definitions, and prompt patterns that make the whole team faster.

• 5 years of professional programming experience building and shipping production software.
• Strong working knowledge of Java (Spring Boot or comparable framework, JPA/Hibernate, REST APIs).
• Strong working knowledge of Angular (any modern version — Type Script, RxJS, component architecture, forms, HTTP, state).
• Comfort with SQL and relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, or similar).
• Solid Git fundamentals — branching, rebasing, clean commits, PR hygiene.
• Demonstrated experience using Claude, Claude Code, or a comparable AI coding agent as a daily driver — able to discuss prompting style, when to trust output, and how to verify it.
• Hotel, vacation rental, or short-term rental industry experience is required. You must have worked for or built software for a hotel, resort, vacation rental company, property management company, or a vendor serving that space (e.g., Airbnb, VRBO, Guesty, Hostaway, Streamline, Track, RMS, Mews, Cloudbeds, or similar).

• Experience with Wild Fly, JBoss, or other Java EE app servers.
• Experience deploying via AWS (Amplify, ECS, RDS/Aurora) or comparable cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Angular SSR, Prime
  
  NG, or other component libraries.
• Experience writing or maintaining custom Claude agents, slash commands, hooks, or skills.
• Background in vacation rental, hospitality, or property management software.

• Claude-first workflow. Engineers use Claude Code daily for planning, coding, reviewing, and debugging.
• Small commits, fast feedback. Multiple ships per day, focused PRs over speculative refactors.
• Read before you write — for both humans and agents.
• No-blame postmortems with agent/runbook updates.
• Base salary: $100,000-$175,000/year plus performance bonus and room to grow based on output and impact.
