Flexibility to work remotely, but not fully remote. Travel to offices and US client sites required.

X by 2 is seeking a Technical Lead to design and develop enterprise software solutions. The role combines hands‑on engineering with leadership, focusing on architecture decisions, team mentorship, and integrating AI into the development lifecycle.

• Technical Leadership:
  Lead architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise software solutions (apps, data, integration, AI agents/models).
• Strategy:
  Translate ambiguous business problems into concrete technical solutions; participate in roadmap and technology evaluation discussions.
• Mentorship:
  Guide engineers through design and code reviews.
• AI Integration:
  Drive the adoption of AI in the software development lifecycle and evaluate new tools for prototyping.
• Engineering:
  Develop scalable applications using Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript. Define coding standards and enforce best practices.
• Quality & Infrastructure:
  Establish automated testing strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and use Infrastructure‑as‑Code on AWS or Azure.
• Integration:
  Build enterprise integrations using APIs, event‑driven architectures, and messaging platforms (Kafka, Rabbit
  
  MQ, etc.).

Experience

• 6+ years in software engineering designing enterprise applications, data/analytics, or integration solutions.
• 1+ years of technical leadership (Tech Lead, Lead Engineer, or Architect).
• 1+ years in AI‑augmented software development.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• Preferred:
  Master's Degree or Minor in AI/Machine Learning.

Technical Skills

• Programming:
  Python, Java, C#, JavaScript.
• Data:
  Relational modeling, SQL, Document/Graph Databases.
• Integration: REST/Graph
  
  QL APIs, event‑driven architectures, Kafka, Rabbit
  
  MQ, Azure Service Bus.
• Dev Ops/Cloud:
  Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, CI/CD pipelines.
• AI Engineering:
  Experience with AI coding assistants (Git Hub Copilot, Cursor) and LLM prompt engineering/fine-tuning.

• Salary: $143,000 – $185,000 (Base), plus profit sharing.
