Principal Software Engineer required for well-backed and rapidly growing start-up to help build and scale systems at the cutting edge of applied AI.

This is a high-impact role focused on solving complex, real-world engineering problems—far from incremental work. You’ll play a key role in designing and delivering production-grade systems where intelligent agents operate at scale.

You are an experienced, hands‑on backend engineer with strong expertise in Python and/or Go
, and a proven track record of putting AI agents into production in recent years.

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience building and deploying AI agents
• Strong backend expertise in Python and/or Go
• Proven experience with distributed systems and platform engineering
• Track record of delivering production‑grade systems at scale
• Fully remote with a highly autonomous, senior team
• Work on technically challenging, high-impact problems
• Shape systems from early design through real‑world deployment
• Strong engineering culture focused on quality, ownership, and velocity
