• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field

• Core experience in Couchbase technologies, including Couchbase Server and N1QL
• Strong database engineering and development experience in a professional environment

  SQL and RDBMS data architecture, design, performance optimization, and troubleshooting
• Experience with distributed/multi‑tiered systems and application development
• Coordination with multiple infrastructure and production support teams
• Cassandra expertise and experience working in OLTP RDBMS space

• Creates design documents ensuring consistency across the IT organization
• Analyzes data requirements and creates logical and physical data flow models
• Collaborates with database administrators and reporting teams
• Translates structured business requirements into specific database solutions
• Designs data repositories and implements data design models, database architecture, and data tier solutions
• Addresses data quality issues with clients and management
• Develops and tests database prototypes
• Participates in software architecture definition to align with organizational strategy
• Applies independent judgment on complex undertakings and short‑term outcomes
• Partners with delivery architects and engineers to design optimal data tier solutions
• Transforms logical data architectures into physical designs according to best practices and standards
• Provides database administration services, including maintenance and extension of databases

• Ensures optimal data replication, high availability, backup, and recovery processes
