Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) offers a 12–16 week paid returnship for candidates who have taken a professional career hiatus of at least one year. Participants will work on software development tasks supporting Navy programs.

Perform software development, integration, and troubleshooting on Linux/Unix systems using C++, Java, Bash, and Python. Work on coding tasks that support Navy programs and collaborate with a community of experienced professionals.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field and at least one year of related experience.
• Development, integration, and troubleshooting experience with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Experience in software development, integration, and troubleshooting using C++ and Java.
• Experience developing scripts using Bash or Python.
• U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain and maintain an active government Secret security clearance.

• Experience / familiarity with SONAR and signal processing.
• Experience with applied mathematics.

Active government Secret security clearance required; position is located at a facility that requires special access. U.S. citizenship required.
