We are developing mission critical Battle Management and Command & Control capabilities for a complete Command and Control mission suite. Customers can also easily integrate their favorite tools into a single CommandIQ® Common Operating Picture (COP) to meet their own, specialized mission requirements.

CommandIQ® is seeking a software engineer to join one of our agile development teams. In this role, you will:

• Decompose higher-level roadmap features into actionable work items.
• Design, implement, and integrate/test software features.
• Perform peer reviews for fellow software engineers and debug issues as they arise.
• Participate in technical discussions to define and solve overarching software architecture needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers to better understand project requirements and customer/stakeholder needs.

Additionally, team members have the ability to interface with an array of different customer groups and present thoughtful solutions to meet the various stakeholder needs. Candidates located in Colorado Springs, CO or King of Prussia, PA are preferred, with fully remote work considered for exceptional matches.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience/Familiarity with Rust (or
  
  C), Python, Java.
• Backend containerization experience using Docker.
• Framework development experience using gRPC.
• Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with system-of-system software integration.
• Experience integrating and managing automated test suite into Gitlab CI/CD pipeline.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience (Advanced Degree may be substituted for 2 years of experience).

Desired

Skills:

• Experience in Agile Methodologies & Tools.
• Experience with container management using Kubernetes/Helm.
• Experience in a Full-Stack engineering role.
• Previous software scripting experience in Java/Python and automation framework experience (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Development experience following REST guidelines.
• Previous IRAD experience.
• Active Secret Clearance.

Security Clearance: Secret. This position requires a government security clearance and the candidate must be a U.S. citizen.

4 day work schedule: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position is $93,200 - $164,450.
