The Boeing Company is seeking Software Engineers (Experienced, Senior) - Simulation to join the F-22 Pilot Training Vehicle Simulation Software team located in Hazelwood, Missouri. This role supports Boeing Global Services (BGS) Software Engineering organization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop simulation models, virtual environments, and frameworks to enhance test performance and software durability throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review and define simulation requirements.
  • Collect and process data for simulations.
  • Validate, verify, and refine simulation software, models, and test procedures against real-world data and benchmarks.
  • Document and maintain technical code, algorithms, and specifications.
  • Integrate simulation software with hardware devices and systems.
  • Implement emerging technologies and modernize legacy systems.
  • Manage simulation software projects.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years developing in C/C++ for real-time embedded systems.
  • 5+ years working with Windows OS and Linux/Red Hat OS.
  • Experience with software development tools such as Git, Bitbucket, MS Visual Studio.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields.
  • 9+ years of related work experience or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience with Version One/Agility, GNAT Pro, GLStudio, Ada, Fortran, OpenGL, Python, Qt.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture, containerization, networking, and real-time software design.
  • Understanding of aircraft systems and simulation modeling.

  • Travel: 10%
