AboutThe Role
Gartner is looking for a well‑rounded software engineer to join the Peer Insights Team. You will be part of a highly motivated agile team driven by innovation and collaboration, working on high‑performance web development environments using cutting‑edge technologies. You will work in a multi‑cloud environment and use containerized pipelines for applications.
What you will do- Develop high‑quality, simple, secure, innovative and scalable technical solutions.
- Assume ownership and take responsibility for successful delivery.
- Work comfortably in a fast‑paced Agile/Scrum environment.
- Focus on software quality and follow good engineering practices.
- Actively participate and constantly explore opportunities for improvement.
- Translate designs and style guides from the design team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross‑browser compatibility and performance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3‑4 years of professional experience developing customer‑facing web applications.
- Experience as a full‑stack developer with proficiency in Java, Spring (Spring Boot, Spring JPA), React, Next.js, Type Script.
- Solid understanding of object‑oriented design principles, software architecture, and best practices.
- Back‑end experience building APIs and working with databases.
- Experience with responsive design and building applications across multiple platforms.
- Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and application security fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Elastic Search, Valkey, or other caching/indexing technologies is a plus.
- Experience designing full‑stack interfaces.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative problem‑solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast‑paced Agile/Scrum environment.
