Lead Software Development - PHP - Remote

Role Overview

This role will work with all aspects of our product and be comfortable writing both backend code and pipeline support. The role will be heavily involved in the design of code and pipeline and should be comfortable adapting to changing requirements. It should also be comfortable learning the business logic of the product and works directly with the head architect, coming up with solutions to unique problems.

• Work closely with business analysts to design, develop and test new features and functionality for our core product
• Work closely with support analysts to identify and fix bugs
• Develop prototypes and proof of concepts to explore new technologies and determine how to best integrate them into the product
• Create clean, reliable, performant code with an eye for future maintainability
• Such other activity as may be assigned by your manager

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 8+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and relational database concepts
• Expert proficiency in PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ
• Expert proficiency with SQL and strong grasp of database concepts
• Expert proficiency in docker/containerization/kubernetes/eks/helm/fluxcd/karpenter
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Experience working with object relational mappings
• Experience with Agile development practices

The annual full time base salary range for this role is $ - $. Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies.
