Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer
Develops and maintains software features for Avum's government applications. Works across the full development lifecycle from requirements through testing and deployment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain application features and bug fixes for government systems
- Participate in code review processes to ensure quality and maintainability
- Coordinate with QA teams on testing, defect resolution, and release readiness
- Work with SMEs and clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Support production troubleshooting and incident response
- Contribute to team estimation, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
The salary range for this position is $90,000 – $130,000 annually, with a target midpoint of $110,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and geographic location. Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or relevant programming languages
- Experience with version control (Git) and Agile development practices
- Experience with Appian platform
- AWS or cloud development experience
- Knowledge of DoD software development standards
