We’re looking for a Senior software engineer with strong front‑end expertise and full‑stack exposure to join our NAM (North American Mobility) Experiences team. You’ll help design and develop intuitive, performant web applications that integrate with our backend services and deliver seamless customer experiences for large fleets and transportation companies.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high‑performance web applications.
- Build and evolve shared component libraries and design‑system assets used across multiple Mobility applications.
- Develop system designs, drive alignment across teams, and implement comprehensive automated testing strategies (unit, integration, end‑to‑end, load, and performance).
- Identify bottlenecks and technical debt; drive incremental scalability, stability improvements, and automation frameworks for testing, monitoring, auto‑scaling, and CI/CD.
- Partner with Product, Design, and UX to deliver high‑quality user experiences.
- Conduct code reviews, champion engineering best practices, and continuously raise the quality bar.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, author root cause analysis documents, and ensure lasting performance and reliability.
- Maintain robust documentation (design docs, run books, change management docs, readiness plans).
- Provide live‑site production support, ensuring rapid incident resolution and continuous improvement.
- Drive cross‑team projects as a single‑threaded owner (STO) or tech lead, actively unblocking other engineers.
- Gain hands‑on experience with automation and AI‑driven engineering solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- 5–8 years of professional experience in software engineering.
- Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms, object‑oriented design, and problem‑solving.
- Proficiency with modern front‑end frameworks such as Angular (preferred) or React.
- Strong skills in Type Script/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SASS.
- Experience integrating front‑end applications with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Solid understanding of web security fundamentals (authentication, authorization, data protection).
- Familiarity with Git, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD workflows.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a focus on user experience and maintainability.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, and a collaborative and empathetic mindset.
- Master’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
- Experience with micro‑frontends or module federation.
- Exposure to backend technologies such as Java (preferred) or Node.js.
- Experience with cloud‑native environments, including Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with relational or No
