• Design and develop Appian applications, following the user experience principles found in the Digital Services Playbook ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) and the U.S. Web Design Standards ().
• Design and develop the system to set the standard for future development, crafting an architecture that smoothly works with existing infrastructure without compromising security.
• Introduce new opportunities to build platform-based solutions to help the users meet their toughest challenges and resolve identified systems integration issues in a timely manner.
• Experience implementing a Cloud BPM implementation for the Federal Government.
• Experience developing and integrating Appian CMS, Apache Spark, Java, Python, AWS (EMR, AWS Lambda, AWS RDS services).
• Experience in RDBMS’s Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Server, and hands-on experience of SQL/PL SQL.
• Experience in leading facilitated code review sessions with subject matter experts to gather and confirm product and data requirements.

• Minimum 5 years of Software Engineering and development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing with Appian.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting agile-based development teams.
• Appian Associate Developer or higher Certification with knowledge of Appian concepts and tools as well as delivering scalable solutions.
• Must have or be making an effort to obtain a Senior Appian Certification.
