At CSC, we are seeking a skilled .NET Software Developer to join our engineering team. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining robust solutions for the Global Trust and Agency domain, supporting CSC’s global operations.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, modular applications using C# and .NET Core.
- Build and enhance modern web applications using Blazor Server, Blazor Web Assembly, or similar front-end frameworks.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to improve code quality, testing, refactoring, and development efficiency.
- Design and optimize data models, database schemas, and application performance using Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
- Develop and maintain serverless solutions using Azure Functions or comparable technologies.
- Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using Bootstrap or similar CSS frameworks.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions within Agile development teams.
- Design, build, and support AI-enabled applications, agents, and intelligent workflows.
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize AI-augmented software development life-cycle (SDLC) practices.
- Develop and maintain automated testing solutions for UI, API, and database validation using Playwright and related technologies.
- Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, testing, CI/CD processes, and collaborative software delivery activities.
- Troubleshoot application, performance, and testing issues, including test reliability and automation framework improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong experience building scalable applications with C# and .NET Core.
- Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks, preferably Blazor Server or Blazor Web Assembly.
- Strong understanding of Entity Framework Core, including data modeling, migrations, LINQ, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency with SQL Server, including scripting, query tuning, indexing, and execution-plan analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Functions or similar serverless technologies.
- Experience developing responsive user interfaces using Bootstrap or comparable frameworks.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and Git-based version control workflows.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile development environments.
- Experience with large language model (LLM) architectures, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), semantic search, vector databases, and agentic AI patterns.
- Hands-on experience building AI agents or AI-enabled workflows.
- Knowledge of Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, and modern AI/ML frameworks.
- Ability to design and optimize AI-assisted development processes and workflows.
- Understanding of AI governance, model limitations, risk considerations, and responsible AI usage.
- Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience delivering complex testing and automation initiatives, including test parallelization and flaky-test remediation.
- Familiarity with Azure Pipelines, CI/CD practices, Git, and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with MediatR, Clean Architecture, Fluxor, or similar architectural and state-management patterns.
- Experience with resilience frameworks such as Polly.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as Artillery, JMeter, K6, or Locust.
- Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
