OverviewThis role is critical in designing and implementing high‑quality technology solutions within the Accounting domain, directly impacting business outcomes. You will lead the building of scalable systems, ensure seamless integration with business needs, and collaborate with Tribe leads, Product Owners, and Architects to align engineering efforts with strategic goals. Your leadership and mentorship will guide the team in adopting best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead the design and implementation of high‑quality technology solutions within the Accounting domain
- Take ownership of engineering activities, including analysis, design/code reviews, coding, and release management
- Mentor and guide team members to follow engineering best practices and deliver high‑performance solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Tribe leads, Product Owners, and Architects to ensure successful business outcomes
- Acquire and apply functional knowledge of the Business capabilities being digitized and re‑engineered
- Foster innovation and a growth mindset, inspiring others to achieve success together
- Collaborate closely with Tribe Leads to ensure alignment between engineering and business needs
- Work directly with Product Owners to define clear business outcomes and ensure the engineering team delivers them
- Partner with Lead Architects to ensure solutions are technically sound, scalable, and aligned with architectural principles
Bachelor’s degree
Skills and Qualifications- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, SQL/PLSQL, and ReactJS
- Strong experience in Big Data processing technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Big Query
- Proven experience with Kubernetes and Open Shift container platforms
- Proficiency in databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis/Hazelcast
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices (e.g., Jenkins, Git Actions)
- Experience in the Banking/Finance domain
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud solutions, particularly GCP
- Previous experience in product development
- Employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model

The salary range for this position in Cary is $125,000 to $185,000. Actual salaries may be based on factors including skill set, experience, education, and location. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or other remuneration.
