Word Press Front‑End Developer / Engineer

Leading web consulting firm, designated as a Code Poet, in St. Louis is seeking a passionate Word Press Engineer to join our growing team. We offer a flexible work-from-anywhere environment.
We are looking for creative developers who want to learn on a daily basis, take pride in developing highly usable, intuitive Word Press sites and hope to change the world via technology.

Skills and Experience- Passion for Word Press and open‑source technology
- PHP Word Press theme/plugin development – must build custom themes from scratch
- Bootstrap or other CSS frameworks/resets
- Modernizr
- HTML and CSS specifications (W3C / WHATWG)
- UX / usability
- Website speed / performance
- Must have live URLs of your work to reference
- Must be able to collaborate effectively
- Must be a proactive communicator
- Must be able to get to extreme detail
- Likely an excellent writer
