- Senior Programmer Developer Pay Range: $97,580.00 – $
- Programmer Developer II Pay Range: $77,900.00 – $99,320.00

What You'll Do- Design, develop, support, and maintain applications and databases that power financial operations.
- Enhance and support custom applications for financial settlements for SPP’s regional transmission organization (RTO) and contract services.
- Collaborate across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver scalable, efficient, and compliant solutions.
- Identify automation opportunities to streamline operations and improve reliability.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Senior Programmer Developer: ≥6 years of applicable IT development/support experience.
- Programmer Developer II: ≥3 years of applicable IT development/support experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Unix/Linux, application development and support, and database management systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of SDLC and project life‑cycle methods and practices.
- Good customer service and organizational skills.
- 2+ years applicable utility industry experience.
- Strong proficiency in modern React, Type Script, and Java.
- Experience implementing web apps in Spring Boot, including RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and design best practices.
- Experience with Oracle SQL and MongoDB.
- Experience with large, complex systems, including system and database optimization and profiling.
- Proficiency with developer tools such as Git, Jenkins, JIRA, Bitbucket, and Ansible.
- Experience with Material UI, MobX, React Hooks, yarn, and rsbuild.
- Professional office environment with standard office equipment.
- Regular decision making, data interpretation, and problem solving required.
- Employee may stand or sit for extended periods and use hands to operate a computer keyboard and equipment.
- Occasional lifting and moving of up to 10 pounds.
- Requires collaboration with managers and employees at all levels.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Compliance with SPP policies and procedures.
Full‑time, hybrid onsite position based in Little Rock, Arkansas. Standard schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional extended hours as needed.
Travel RequirementApproximately 10% minimal travel.
