API Software Development Engineer

Role Summary

• Participate in a cross‑shore development team and collaborate to build API microservices throughout the entire development process.
• Engage in Agile scrums, sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog grooming, and reviews.
• Analyze production defects, troubleshoot systems, identify root cause, and implement fixes.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; or a high school diploma/GED with two years of experience in Java, Spring, and Spring Boot development.
• Experience building and consuming web services via SOAP and REST.
• Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required.

• Familiarity with Java development and common frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, continuous integration environments and writing unit and integration tests.
• Proficiency with JSON, REST and XML based web services.
• Experience utilizing AI tools.
• Strong cross‑functional team player with the ability to work seamlessly across a matrix organization.
• Desire to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills; attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze and use structured problem‑solving and available tools to troubleshoot systems, identify root cause, and develop action plans.

75,000. USD Annual with eligibility for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Salary ranges are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

We offer flexibility: you can work from home near one of our Hubs or in an office. You will be required to commute to your nearest Hub (virtual or physical) for in‑person engagement activities such as regular business or team meetings, training and culture events.
