Full Stack Developer (Java)
Location:
Remote (Must Work PST)
Duration: 12+ month CTH
Top 3-5 Tools/Tech:
· A minimum of 5 years professional front and backend software engineering experience.
· A solid foundation in Java and experience building Spring-based web applications.
· Experience in Web programming with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Responsibilities· Design and implement new features for payment processing on our cross-platform ecommerce system, including integrations with third party payment providers.
· Collaborate with multiple development teams ensuring proper designs and integrations.
· Implement, maintain, and own infrastructure
· Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot performance across all tiers.
· Perform research to acquire new knowledge necessary to perform tasks and maintain a process of technological evolution
Requirements· A minimum of 5 years professional front and backend software engineering experience.
· A solid foundation in Java and experience building Spring-based web applications.
· Experience in Web programming with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
· Hands-on experience working with a Single Page Application framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.
· Strong CS fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and design patterns
· Experience with web services, messaging middleware, security, microservices, and n-tier architectures
· Understanding of scalable and highly concurrent server architecture design
· Familiarity with testing practices, including regression, acceptance, functional, and load testing
· Knowledge of data-modeling and RDBMS development practices
Pluses
· Experience with billing and payment systems
· Experience with Maven, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
· AWS experience (EC2, ELB, DynamoDB, S3, SQS)
· Experience with JavaScript development and web technologies
