- This is 5 days on site a month- in the same week then the remainder of the month is working from home. ( They can fly/drive into the office as well). We are currently sourcing for a motivated Software Engineer to assist with developing the high-quality security and infrastructure components. This Engineer will need to work independently to analyze, research code, recommend and detail technical design strategies, develop, test, and work with Environment groups to integrate and support changes from development to test to production environments.

Our group develops Authorization, B2B Security and Single Sign On infrastructure software components that are the backbone for many of Fidelity’s web business applications.

• Working on various small, medium and large scale projects.
• Do Systems Analysis of user stories
• Research code to understand how existing infrastructure works and recommend designs to address changes. Document technical alternatives and recommend strategy.
• Develop changes and adhere to Design / Development review processes.
• Unit test and support code during QA testing phase.
• Provide environment support as code moves through development, integration, acceptance and production environments.
• Communicate issues, progress and status to all levels of the organization.
• Conform to secure coding standards.
• Deliver high quality work under tight deadlines
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Should be willing and able to work with various technologies and programming languages. Our applications use Java/J2EE and run on Linux

• Minimum of 6-8 years development experience
• 5 years Java experience.
• Good knowledge of Spring framework and at least 3+ years of experience working on Spring based projects.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience working in a SOA infrastructure preferable. Hands on experience working with web services: SOAP or REST (preferred).
